merry christmas
aaron started this year working at AtTask while attending the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University. In June he completed and received his Master’s of Business Administration degree. Shortly afterwards, he accepted a job with Bank of America Merchant Services and moved the whole family out to Colorado. He is a Salesforce.com Administrator and is really enjoying his job. He has the ability to work from home a couple days a week (which means we get to see him more-yay!) and is glad to be back in Colorado. He grew up here and loves being able to spend time exploring Colorado again. Of course being closer to the Colorado Rockies baseball team and the Denver Bronco’s football team is always a bonus.
I (brookie) spent a lot of my time chasing and playing with addison and landon and being in the Relief Society Presidency, which I really enjoyed. Since the move things have calmed down, I usually spend my days either at the pool, or a playground, or going for walks with the kids. I recently started teaching preschool to addison and trying to potty train landon.( wish me luck) aaron and I were just called to serve in the primary-a first for us both.
addison, who turned 4 this year, is keeping us on our toes and has a lot of attitude and personality. She loves to go swimming, sing songs, and play dress up, especially as a princess. She also has a very good imagination, and likes to bug landon. She enjoys going to her primary class, the Sunbeams, and loves singing primary songs. In preschool she is learning to recognize the alphabet letters, sign them in sign language, and she is also learning numbers, colors, shapes, patterns, counting, and how to cut with scissors. Her favorite preschool activity is painting, and loves to show landon and aaron what she has painted.
landon, who is now 21 months, is, well, a 21-month old. He is very active and is into everything, especially the toilet. We have already lost one toothbrush down the toilet. He is talking like crazy; we just wish we could understand half of what he says. He enjoys swimming, playing on the playground slides, playing hide and go seek, and following addison around while causing trouble. His favorite toys are balls and he loves to have books read to him. Right now his favorite books are Old McDonald’s Farm, Pat the Bunny, and You’re My Little Love Bug.
We have been truly blessed this year and can’t wait to see what next year will bring us. (Hopefully a house with a yard)
Thank you all the support and your wonderful friendships.
Merry Christmas!!
